Parent Coordinator – P.S. 14 Senator John D. Calandra

Hello and Welcome to P.S. 14! My name is Suzette (Susy) DiCecco and I am the Parent Coordinator for P.S. 14. I have been working at P.S. 14 as the PC since September of 2019 but my love for this school began way before that. My son and my daughter attended 14 and I volunteered and served on the PTA from 2010 until my youngest graduated in June 2016. I love my job and I am so happy to be back in this wonderful community of educators and families here at P.S. 14.

My office is located on the second floor in Room 204, which also serves as our Family Welcome Center. My job is to support our students, families, educators and administrators. I am here to help you.

Every month I put together a family calendar where you will find all our school, PTA and district events as well as any holidays and deadlines you should be aware of. The calendar always has our contact information.
I support the PTA with their events, meetings and establishing a fully-functioning organization. I also assist with helping the members understand their roles and responsibilities.
PC’s host parent workshops and events too! Be on the lookout for our monthly “PC Family Connect”.
We have a Student Government! Twice every school year, every 3rd, 4th and 5th grade class will elect a President. Once for the Fall then again for the Spring. I oversee and help our Student Government decide on and organize community activities they want to work on. Visit our Student Government page to see what we’ve done in the past.
I assist our United Community School Director, Ms. Jackie, connect our parents to our Food Pantry.
